Join Durham Attack's Technical Director, Michael Amoroso, as he hosts volleyball clinics this weekend at Canada Christian College.

🗓 Saturday afternoon, 17U and 18U athletes will work on their setting and defence/liberos.

🗓 Then on Sunday afternoon, 13U, 14U, 15U and 16U athletes will get their time on the court, focusing on setting/reception.

Congratulations to Durham Attack Coach Becky Trant

Congratulations to Durham Attack Coach Becky Tranter on being inducted into the Durham College Sports Hall Of Fame!

Becky was on the Durham Lords' women volleyball team from 1999-2003 and during her time she helped get the team OCAA bronze (2000) and gold (2002).

DA is fortunate to have Becky on the coaching roster. For the 2024-25 season Becky is on the coaching team for Talons 13U boys.

We are so honored to have hosted another Virtual Post Secondary Panel tonight for Durham Attack 16U, 17U and 18U athletes. 💻 🏐

The panel discussion focused on educating our athletes and families on how to prepare for recruitment, post secondary admission process, aspects of being a student athlete, and more. 💡

We’re very fortunate to have been able to tap into expert advice from those with experience in post secondary volleyball. ✨️

🇨🇦 Our Canadian school panelists included Royal Military Women’s Volleyball Head Coach Joely Christian, Durham College Men’s Volleyball Head Coach Dwayne Cochrane, Brock University Men’s Volleyball Head Coach Ian Eibbitt and Humber College Women’s Volleyball Head Coach Chris Wilkins.

🇺🇸 Giving us the US perspective, we had Caitlin Genovy, Technical Coordinator for the University of Houston Volleyball program.

🤝 And with details on recruitment, we heard from Six Pack Recruiting Sports’ Dale Melnick.

A big thank you to all of our panel experts and to the Durham Attack 16-18U athletes and families who joined us. 🫶 We hope this discussion was helpful for athletes wanting to pursue volleyball in their post secondary studies. If you attended, feel free to leave a takeaway in the comments.
